CONNECT WITHOUT AN INBOUND DATABASE PORT

A practical path
to private data.

Outbound connection

The agent initiates the connection to the control plane. The normal deployment does not require an inbound database port from TableArth.

Credentials stay local

Database credentials are configured within the customer network. Permitted query results return through the connector.

Scoped source access

Use a read-only database account and expose the intended sources. Runtime caps and timeouts limit individual queries.

A SMALL AGENT. A CLEAR BOUNDARY.

Connect with
your team’s involvement.

Data does cross the boundary: query results are returned to TableArth, and selected privacy settings govern AI context. “Credentials stay local” does not mean no data ever leaves your network.
  1. Agree on the source

Choose a supported database, selected tables, read-only credentials, and the network path.

  2. Enroll the local agent

Install and enroll the connector in the approved environment. Validate outbound connectivity and source access.

  3. Test a workbook query

Confirm the exposed schema and expected results before giving the workbook to your users.

Questions, answered

Before you get started.

How does the private connector reach my database?

A connector in your approved network makes an outbound connection to TableArth. It accesses configured sources with local credentials and returns permitted results to the workspace. Setup depends on your network and source configuration.

Does all data stay inside my network?

Database credentials stay local to the connector. Authorized query results return to TableArth for analysis. Review the selected fields and the configured AI and answer privacy modes when deciding what information may be used.

What do the private database dashboard examples require?

The 12 examples illustrate business analyses such as revenue, fulfillment, support demand, and product activity. They require matching tables, fields, and relationships in your own database; they are not automatic database performance monitors.
